RESIDENT IN COUNSELING

Christian (he/him) is a mental health professional of Hispanic heritage with a background in psychology, who has been shaped by his own experiences with anxiety and depression. His approach to trauma therapy is rooted in equity, fairness, and data-driven decision-making. Committed to ongoing learning and cultural humility, he strives to create inclusive spaces that honor diverse perspectives and experiences.


With specialized training in somatic techniques such as EMDR, Christian helps adults heal from trauma-related symptoms such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. His therapeutic work is guided by a deep understanding of how trauma impacts the mind and body, allowing him to support clients in processing past experiences, building resilience, and cultivating lasting emotional well-being. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and expressing his creativity through playing the guitar.
