RESIDENT IN COUNSELING

Sarah Abraham is a Resident in Counseling.  She received her Masters in Professional School Counseling from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 2013 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2002.  Sarah has over 10 years in the school counseling profession.

While the majority of Sarah’s experience is working with children, she has experience working with adults who have experienced trauma; particularly first responders and members of the military.  She believes in empowering her clients with the tools to reach their desired goals and does that through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and solution-focused therapies.  These, coupled with a  strong desire to change and the willingness to do so, Sarah believes her clients can be successful in their therapeutic journey.

In her down time, Sarah enjoys running, gardening, baking and spending time with her three children.
