Joshua Seay

RESIDENT IN COUNSELING

Joshua Seay is a Resident in Counseling in the state of Virginia who has 3 years of experience working with children and adults with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, anger management, self-esteem concerns and family relationship concerns. He works towards meeting the needs of clients as well as being a strong advocate for self care. Joshua graduated from Lynchburg College with his Bachelors in Psychology then received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling for the University of Lynchburg.

Joshua focuses on strength based, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, emotional and solution based counseling to empower those to utilize their strengths in a safe and comforting environment. Joshua also focuses on the individuality of each person to help promote positive self worth as well as awareness to the needs of each individual.

Joshua seeks to create a positive environment and relationship that is open in order for you to feel safe and secure when expressing concerns as well as building a collaborative relation to meet you where you are in life and continue towards positive progress.
